Introduction
The Dental Service provides preventive and treatment services to those priority groups including children, adults, elderly persons and patients with special needs who require specialised treatment skills not available in the General Dental Practices.
This care is provided in clinic, community, hospital and home settings.
The service undertakes dental surveys to provide local and national information to help in the development and planning of local dental services.
