Have you been recently diagnosed with Diabetes or would like an update?
"Living With Diabetes" courses provided by Diabetes Centre/Community Team at the Training + Resource Centre, Tameside General Hospital. These sessions are for people who have been recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes or have previously been to the classes and would like an update.
To attend the courses you must fill in the 'Living with Diabetes' form that can be picked up from your GP, practice nurse, podiatrist or Dietician.
The course consists of:
- A free lunch
- What diabetes is, food and diabetes and your diabetes targets. This information compliments the information you have had from your GP/Practice nurse.
