Parenting Skills Groups

Positive Parenting courses are suitable for parents of children up to about 10 years old. Living with Children is similar.

Surviving Teenagers! and Living with Teenagers are similar courses and are suitable from 10 onwards .

Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities is a parenting and community programme lasting 13 weeks.

Positive Parents is run by Derbyshire County Council and uses the ‘Incredible Years’ programme. It is suitable for parents of children aged 3 - 8 years and lasts for 12 weeks.
 
Speakeasy 4 Parents is a course for parents to learn together and acquire the
confidence and skills they need to talk to their children about sex and sexuality.

Parenting with Multiples in Mind is a Twins and Multiple Births Association
(TAMBA) course for parents of 1-5 year old twins, triplets or more. The facilitator
is also a trained Positive Parenting facilitator.
